Willow animal sculptures

Come and learn how to make a beautiful handmade willow woven sculpture with Julie from Pip Cottage.
This is a lovely craft using traditional methods, to create a willow animal (stag, hare or birds such as chickens and herons), which will look fantastic in your garden! Step by step demonstration will be provided and there is no need to share tools or equipment.
Limited spaces are available (6) so early booking is essential. This socially distanced workshop is aimed at adults but older children are welcome to come and assist you. £95 per place (you could bring a plus 1 but you would only be able to make one animal between you). This includes all materials and refreshments (hot drinks and cake).
Please come appropriately dressed for the outdoors and bring a packed lunch. We do have a shelter to retreat to in case of wet weather and there is a composting toilet on site.
Please note – this kind of willow weaving is not suitable if you suffer from arthritis. You may find it easier working with a softer material e.g. the natural cordage workshop.
