Axe-throwing in the Woods! 6:45pm

We are excited to welcome Greg and his team from Real-axe Bolton to Wildwood Days for a series of axe throwing sessions through summer.

Axe-throwing is great fun, easy to learn and very satisfying! This is suitable for ages 10 and up so perfect for families with older children or for groups of adults. The 1 and a half hour sessions are for a maximum of 10 people.

You will each get 5 minutes tuition per pair, then there’s 3 rounds of 5 throws each as a competition, resulting in the top 4 going into a semi final 5 throws each and then a final of 5 throws each…crowning an axe champion at the end!

If there is any time left, we’ll do some extra throwing.

Refreshments are provided. We’ll have a campfire going so you can toast a marshmallow and have a brew in-between throwing axes. You will also enjoy a slice of homemade cake from the Brinscall Baker.

There’s a session from 5 to 6:30 and a second session from 6:45 to 8pm.
