Grass identification workshop aimed at beginners, run by John Lamb – the conservation officer for Lancashire Wildlife Trust.
This 2 hour workshop is a good introduction to grass ID suitable for complete beginners, although some experience of using keys might be useful. We will be looking at grasses around site and in the adjacent meadow and going through how to identify them in the field.
A handout and refreshments (tea/coffee and cake) will be provided.
